Les cellules du lymphome non hodgkinien se pr\u00e9sentent sous la forme d&#8217;une population distincte \u00e0 ne pas confondre avec des cellules m\u00e9soth\u00e9liales, cellules inflammatoires et leucocytes sanguins. Sur ces trois microphotographies, la population n\u00e9oplasique se compose de lymphoblastes de taille variable avec nucl\u00e9oles pro\u00e9minents et membrane nucl\u00e9aire irr\u00e9guli\u00e8re. Dans le cas de la leuc\u00e9mie lympho\u00efde chronique et du lymphome lymphocytaire bien diff\u00e9renci\u00e9, l&#8217;\u00e9panchement pleural peut comporter de petits lymphocytes ronds. La pigmentation du cytoplasme est souvent, mais pas toujours, pr\u00e9sente.
